Andres Alean

Violinist - Colombia. Began his musical studies at 8 years old, under the direction of his father. In 2003 he started receiving violin lessons with Professor Mauricio Rodríguez at the School of Arts of the Universidad del Sinu in Monteria - Colombia. In 2010, he received his bachelor´s degree in Basic Education with emphasis in art-music education from the Universidad de Córdoba - Colombia. In 2017 he received his degree as a musician-violinist at the National University of Colombia, studies conducted under the direction of Professor Luis Dario Baracaldo (Concertmaster of the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia). In 2020 he finished his master´s degree in music performance-violin at the University of Southern Mississippi under the direction of Dr. Stephan Redfield.

Andres has performed with the Conservatory Symphony Orchestra from the National University of Colombia, the USM Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, and the Meridian Symphony Orchestra.

Daniela’s musical experience includes fifteen years with the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra in Venezuela’s acclaimed “El Sistema” where she also was an active teacher and chamber musician. In 2000, she moved to Milwaukee to pursue a master in music. After holding the string department chair position at the Wisconsin Conservatory for eight years and founding the Suzuki program there, Daniela moved to Hattiesburg in 2010 and taught orchestra at several schools. 

Her position as an adjunct music professor at William Carey University inspired her to create and direct the “William Carey Suzuki Institute” and “My First String Camp at Carey”. 

Ms. Pardo relocated to the Mobile area in 2019 to become the Mobile Symphony Education Director. Ms. Pardo is an active teacher in the Mobile and Baldwin counties, viola performer in several regional orchestras and festivals, and a successful administrator and music contractor.

Andrea Beltran Landers

Andrea Beltran Landers is a professional cellist native of Peru, currently residing in Mobile, AL. Her versatility as a musician led her to pursue a career as a quartet cellist, an educator, and an orchestra player. She is a member of the Mobile, Meridian, and Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestras, and is often invited to play in other ensembles in the area. She has been part of the Klangfarben String Quartet, Rosen String Quartet, and is currently a member of the Kahlo Quartet, ensemble chosen to participate in the 2019 Audience Engagement Intensive at Carnegie Hall, NY.

Andrea is a passionate educator with more than fifteen years of experience. She is currently a faculty member at the Winters School of Music at William Carey University, where she teaches cello at the collegiate level. Andrea is also an Education Instructor with the Mobile Symphony Education Program, reaching many students in the schools of the Mobile area each week. In addition, she maintains a private cello studio, where she creates a healthy environment for students to learn the joy of cello playing.

Mrs. Beltran Landers graduated summa cum laude from Western Illinois University in 2012. She also holds a master’s degree from The University of Southern Mississippi. Andrea is currently in the last stages of her doctoral degree in Music Performance and Pedagogy from the same institution.
